The Orem Arts Council, established by the Orem City Council in 2004, serves as a citizen advisory board dedicated to advancing the arts throughout the city. Guided by a Cultural Arts Strategic Plan adopted in 2006, the Council promotes a vision of Orem as a vibrant, arts-rich community supported through collaboration with local arts organizations, educational institutions, businesses, and residents. With a mission to increase visibility and emphasize the importance of the arts, the Council supports cultural initiatives across the city—from the Hale Center Theater and City Center to the SCERA Center for the Arts and the UVU Museum of Art.
