Life got you down? Feeling under pressure? Ann Chen’s mural on the face of this high-pressure hydraulics shop may be just the message you need — “Change Starts With You.” The mural was completed as part of South Salt Lake’s Mural Fest 2019. Chen, a self-taught lettering artist,  bends the rules of typography with her whimsical linework and letterforms. Her illustrations are inspired by daily musings expressed through a colorful and positive lens. She designs murals, hand-lettered logos, editorial illustration, social media content, and stationery for business owners out of her studio in Salt Lake City, Utah.
