During lockdowns and quarantines people have been discovering the outdoors. They probably have run across Chris Peterson, who didn’t need a global pandemic to get him out in the wild; and he brings wild settings back with him to urban landscapes, and charges his experience with neon color.
As part of South Salt Lake’s Mural Fest 2020, Peterson recently completed a mural on the south side of the Cordin Company building at 2460 South Main Street. A giant trout is about to swallow a window on its way to catching a frog that disappears towards the building’s roof.
