Artist Statement

My work focuses on the eerie potency of nature and the atmosphere of places where human oversight slips—graveyards, overgrown smoking spots, empty pubs, and the foggy countryside around Cambridge. These are spaces where time feels layered and strange, where nature creeps back in without permission. My practice is quiet and repetitive, allowing instinct to take over. Some of my influences include David Hockney, Japanese ink painting, Gustave Moreau, and graphic novels.
