The Springville Museum of Art invites you to experience In Search of Ourselves: Soviet Art and the Shared Human Spirit, a reexamination of its renowned Soviet and Russian Art Collection. This long-term exhibition explores themes of identity, community, labor, and leisure, offering insight into the everyday lives, aspirations, and emotional landscapes of individuals behind the Iron Curtain.
Far from propaganda alone, these works illuminate universal human longings—reminding viewers of the shared hopes and struggles that transcend borders and political systems.
