Gavin Sheehan braved the heat on Friday to check out this month’s Gallery Stroll; what he brought back from the event was an interview with artist Todd Powelson who is showing at Dexterity Salon. The series of work on display, called “Dreams for Schmidty,” was originally published monthly in SLUG Magazine. The artist describes it as “a series of dream images and archetypes that I’ve dedicated to a childhood friend who passed away from a rare genetic disease.”
