German-born sculptor Ursula Brodauf is best-known for her modernist works that deploy a keen sense of form and space. You’ll find her “Intensity” at the entrance to Salt Lake City’s Fire Station #11, tucked away along the east end of the Salt Lake City airport grounds. An image of flames contained in a concrete plinth and a nearby wheel are used to evoke the work of the public servants the sculpture celebrates. 581 N 2360 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84116
